All beef, lamb and venison we use to create Kiwi Kitchens pet foods are grass-fed in New Zealand.
New Zealand King Salmon is a rich natural source of healthy Omega 3 fatty acids.
Our wild caught white fish are sourced from the sub Antarctic waters of southern New Zealand. Fish from these waters are very high in Omega 3’s. New Zealand ocean fisheries have one of the highest rankings in the world for sustainability.
We use cage free humanely raised chicken from New Zealand farmers who grow their birds without added hormones or antibiotics and in compliances with SPCA animal welfare certification.

SAFE FOOD THAT IS FULLY TRACEABLE It’s important to us to not only know where our ingredients come from but ensure they have little or no impact on our environment. We work closely with farmers and growers to ensure their practices are sustainable and ethical.
Above and beyond traceability of both ingredients and our finished products, they’re tested at both ends of the production line to ensure common hazards like bacteria, moulds and potentially harmful physical and chemical risks are eliminated.

In addition, New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussel farms are sited well away from cities and centres of higher population density.

Freeze-dried food offers a convenient product to use, buy and transport. It can be fed in it’s freeze-dried state or simply be rehydrated by adding water before feeding.
Pet parents love freeze-dried food because it’s nutrient-rich, flavourful, and convenient. It doesn’t need preservatives, has a long shelf life, and is easy to store and serve. Plus, pets often find it delicious thanks to its natural taste and texture.
For our Dinners we recommend rehydrating with water for ultimate flavour and hydration.
